Pranjal Jyoti Goswami joins Bevolve as Co-Founder & CEO
Deep sustainability expertise meets AI-native execution
Bevolve is entering its next chapter.
We started by building technology to help organisations measure and communicate their sustainability performance. Working closely with customers has reinforced an important lesson:
Technology alone is not enough.
The real opportunity lies in combining technology with deep domain expertise, helping companies move from sustainability reporting and compliance to better business decisions, stronger operations and measurable value creation.
That is why Bevolve is evolving into an AI-native, domain-led sustainability outcomes company.
We are delighted to welcome Pranjal Jyoti Goswami as Co-Founder & CEO to lead this next phase.
“Over the last few years, Bevolve has had the opportunity to work with more than 100 organisations, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. That journey has taught us that customers ultimately want outcomes, not just technology. Pranjal brings deep sustainability expertise, an operator’s mindset and a shared belief that sustainability should create measurable value for the business. I am excited to see him build the next chapter of Bevolve.”
Nirmal Chudgar, Founding Contributor, Bevolve
Pranjal brings more than 22 years of experience across sustainability, ESG, EHS, biotechnology, chemicals, life sciences and manufacturing. His work has spanned decarbonisation, Scope 3, sustainable supply chains, ESG performance, governance, regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting.
What makes his experience especially relevant to Bevolve is that he has spent much of his career on the operating side of sustainability, translating ambition into execution.
Most recently, Pranjal served as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) at Gokaldas Exports ( a ₹5,000 crore listed apparel manufacturer). Prior to that, he led sustainability for South Asia at Novozymes (now part of Novonesis), the world’s largest provider of enzyme and microbial technologies. He also held a regulatory and technical affairs role at 3M India. Earlier in his career, Pranjal worked with the Danish Embassy and Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on sustainable business initiatives in India. He is an alumnus of IIM Visakhapatnam and holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene from Sardar Patel University.
His experience includes leading SBTi target setting and Scope 3 assessments, supporting sustained CDP A-list and DJSI performance, improving EcoVadis performance, and implementing renewable-energy procurement initiatives in India.
Our ambition is simple: Democratize impact creation so businesses can do good and do well.
Welcome to Bevolve, Pranjal.
About me
The standard framing of sustainability investment is cost management: how do we reduce energy bills, avoid carbon penalties, and comply with emerging regulation? That framing is not wrong, it is just incomplete.
Several dynamics are already reshaping capital allocation in India:
Green financing is becoming cheaper: ESG-linked debt instruments, green bonds, and sustainability-linked loans now carry lower spreads for credible issuers. Organisations with verified sustainability targets and transparent reporting have a measurable cost-of-capital advantage over those without.
