About Bevolve

We are based out of Auroville, the largest intentional community on the planet, that has been dedicated to sustainable practices for over 50 years. The founding team of Bevolve comprises graduates from Northwestern Kellogg, & Chicago Booth with over 20 years of experience in technology in the USA, UK, and Singapore.
About the Role

We invite individuals who approach challenges thoughtfully, who aspire to utilize their education and skills to contribute to a better world while taking on a researcher role.
Responsibilities
Being hands-on in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational & ESG data from clients or publicly available sources
Assist clients in identifying relevant ESG metrics, benchmarks, and targets aligned with their organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations
Strong understanding of ESG disclosure, Carbon accounting, new developments and trends.
Assist with product development and detailed feature mapping and planning
Prepare high-quality written reports, presentations, and other communication materials to effectively convey ESG insights.
Required Experience
Master’s (Social Sciences, Sustainability, Public Policy or related fields) with research and quantitative analysis.
Stay on top of all regulations and frameworks globally including but not limited to GRI, SASB, CDP, CSRD, TCFD and others
Proficiency with quantitative analysis using software packages such as R, Stata or equivalent.
Deep passion for sustainability and a demonstrated commitment to making a positive impact.
Excellent writing and communications skills, particularly academic and report writing.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to convert targets and deliver on time.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge and experience in impact economics, Impact Valuation, and carbon accounting
Specific domain expertise around sustainability – such as textiles, circular economy, conservation, waste management etc. will be preferred.
Location
This role will be ideally in Auroville, India office but can be flexible based on the candidate.
Approximately 15-20% travel is anticipated in India.
